Assistant Manager - Marketing (Job Code: MKTNG01)

We are looking for a creative, self-starter and motivated data-driven marketer to lead the marketing funnel for the company. We need someone who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing traditional/outbound marketing strategies and systems to support and grow the business of our market offerings. With heavy focus on lead generation programs, conversion optimization, and outbound marketing, the person will also be responsible for generating marketing-qualified leads from various outbound channels. 

  • Develop and build the outbound marketing team
  • Develop good technical understanding of the product
  • Develop and manage an editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to participate in relevant trade shows, product campaigns, webinars and events
  • Develop strategies and campaigns to grow share-of-wallet of existing customers
  • Constantly grow and generate marketing-qualified leads by consistently implementing the plan
  • Design, manage and execute email campaigns
  • Drive digital advertising and marketing on search and social media
  • Develop and refine product collateral
  • Establish and grow company’s branding through magazine articles, PRs and other channels
  • Develop and grow partnerships with industry associations
  • Work with partners, sales and technical team
  • Creative design, content creation and design
  • Monitor and report on costs and expenses, ROI, working metrics and KPIs to the Head of Marketing
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how outbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers
  • Working with Head of Marketing and regularly reporting on progress made
  • Work closely with Inbound Marketing
  • Align with the overall marketing goals of the company


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor degree in engineering or a related field. MBA would be a plus.
  • Good understanding of marketing methodologies
  • Very good written and verbal skills having excellent creative thinking and analytical ability
  • 3+ years of proven work experience in outbound marketing
  • Experience in introducing products to new markets
  • Solid understanding of the customer lifecycle and life stages
  • Ability to translate product features into business value-proposition
  • In-depth knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search, re-targeting, social network advertising
  • Thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
