The summer school has always been in continuous demand as hopefuls apply to join the exclusive group of participants. Over one week, a specific topic is taken and explored intensively from different perspectives. The course instructs on the use of professional simulation software and scientific aspects, presents research topics and provides the opportunity to discuss ideas with subject experts.

This course provides a brief introduction of what FEM is, covering concepts such as geometry discretization, elements, and degrees of freedom. It further explores the applications of FEM in various industries such as Aerospace & Defence, Healthcare, Environmental Engineering and product tests. The course also exposes students to the Ansys workbench user interface. Students will learn how to use ANSYS to perform Structural Analysis and Fluid Flow Analysis

Foundation course Highlights (Duration-3 Day’s):

  • Introduction to FEM
  • Applications of FEM
  • Ansys Workbench GUI
  • Structural Analysis using ANSYS
  • Fluid Flow Analysis using ANSYS
  • Includes Demonstrations, Assignments and Q&A

This course teaches students further analysis tools with ANSYS. Students can learn how to perform Crash Analysis, Drop Test Analysis and Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) Analysis. This course is suitable for students who are already familiar with the basics of ANSYS covered in the foundation course.

Advanced course Highlights (Duration-3 Day’s):

  • Crash Analysis using ANSYS
  • Drop Test Analysis using ANSYS
  • Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) Analysis using ANSYS
  • Includes Demonstrations, Assignments and Q&A
